

Conservation and biodiversity monitoring specialist with a background in agriculture Engineering and Natural Resource Management (Water and Soil Management), bringing over eight years of experience in biodiversity conservation, ecological monitoring, spatial analysis, and protected area management within African Parks Congo and the University of Kinshasa. Experienced in designing and implementing biodiversity monitoring programs, ecological surveys, wildlife threat assessments, habitat monitoring, and evidence-based conservation strategies to support adaptive management of protected areas. Proficient in the application of GIS, remote sensing, EarthRanger, camera trapping, GPS wildlife monitoring, and environmental data management to assess ecosystem dynamics, monitor wildlife populations, and support conservation planning. Strong experience in analysant anthropogenic pressures, including artisanal mining, transboundary pastoral movements, land-use change, and climate-related impacts on biodiversity and ecosystem integrity. Throughout my career, I have contributed to multidisciplinary conservation initiatives, including the TANGO Programme in Garamba National Park, integrating biodiversity conservation, landscape management, climate resilience, and community engagement. I have collaborated with park management teams, researchers, and technical partners to generate scientific evidence that informs conservation decision-making and strengthens protected area management.
