Job Description :

· Involved in detailed re-engineering of Leach plant (Copper cathodes & Cobalt hydroxide) & 100TPD Acid plant

· Managed Drawing office ( Civil , Mechanical , Electrical & Instrument). Drawing engineering plan, review & processing for final approval.

· Pipe rack designing & pipe routing plans.

· Involved in Equipment Erection, Piping, Trial & Commissioning Activities.

· Monitored fabrication activities (tank/pipe racks/ sheds/structural buildings, etc)

· Project tracking/monitoring for on time completion.

· Optimized Budget planning (OPEX) for mechanical maintenance.

· Complete spare planning for equipments.

About Plant : Shalina Resources Ltd and its DRC subsidiary Chemaf S.A.R.L (“Chemaf”), a company specializing in cobalt and copper exploration, mining and processing. The Usoke Plant, first commissioned in 2002, represents Chemaf’s primary processing facility with capacity to produce 31,500 tonnes of copper cathodes and 2,400 tonnes of cobalt salt per annum along with 100TPD Acid plant.

Job Description :

Lead Engineer in following major plant dismantling & reconditioning (equipments) units :

o Crushing & Milling Unit

o Pre Leach VBF (vacuum belt filter)

o Leaching section

o CCD & Solution clarification (Thickeners, tanks, etc)

o Solution Storage & Copper Solvent Extraction (Cu SX)

o Copper Electrowinning

o Cobalt Electrowinning

o Pilot plants dismantling (Cu EW, Co EW, Leach plant)

o SAP 100 (Sulphuric acid plant) Dismantling

o SO2 plant dismantling

· Dismantling of plant with proper tagging & stacking

· Budget planning for dismantling & relocation

· Scheduled dismantling plans & tracking.

· Manpower handling & utilization.

· Project activities monitoring for on time completion

· Reconditioning of Equipments (Gearboxes, pumps, agitator shaft, lantern , blowers, & special process equipments, etc)

· Resolving mechanical issues during project , therefore minimizing idle time to meet the dismantling time frames.

· Spare planning for project relocation.

· Budget plan for maintenance of equipments

· Pilot plant dismantling (Copper electrowinning, Cobalt bench scale project (Cobalt Electrowinning) & Leach plant)

· Material Dispatch & loading of trucks (Approx 1200 Trips)

About Plant : Detergeo chem is a new 5TPH sulfonation plant producing LABSA (linear alkylbenzene sulphonic acid) and AES

Job Description :

· Managing project activities (Equipment Erection, Piping, Commissioning)

· Supervision of work as per drawings ( P&ID, GA, Isometric)

· Study of BOQ followed by making BOM

· Regular follow up of materials from vendors

· Communication and meeting with vendors,contractors,service engineers

· Managing procurement as well as inventory of received material.

· Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance

· Maintaining manpower according to their skills

· Responding to major and minor breakdowns

· Troubleshoot and resolving mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.

· Diagnosing faults during predictive maintenance

· Maintaining statistical records.

· Manpower handling.

· Maintaining log records as per audit requirements

· Maintaining spare stock for PR planning.

· Participation in project activities within plant.
